Brasilhair Training Center, or BTC for short, is a training and specialization center in Afro-European hairdressing and hair extensions, for hairdressers; for unemployed individuals, and also for internships for hairdressing students.

Send a quote request for the sessions of your choice by email to the following address: formation@brasilhair.com.
After validation of the quote, we will send you your professional training agreement or contract.

Please return your duly signed professional training agreement or contract at least 10 days before the start of your training.
Your registration will only be validated upon receipt of a 30% deposit.

Payment terms: 30% upon registration and the balance on the first day of training in 3 or 4 installments by credit card.
• Checks should be made payable to: BRASILHAIR (only accepted for the 30% deposit upon registration).
• A 10% discount is offered for registration in more than 2 modules.

EXTENSION HAIRDRESSER: 392-HOUR COURSE

Hair extension application has now become an essential service that every hair salon or hairdressing professional must offer to retain customers, diversify their offerings, and align with market trends. This training is for salon owners who wish to train their team of hairdressers or for hairdressers who want to advance in their field.
We offer a comprehensive 392-hour program (i.e., 56 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect:

• the main techniques for applying hair extensions in wefts
• the main techniques for applying hair extensions strand by strand
• the application of wigs, hairpieces & lace wigs, as well as hair prostheses or hair systems
• techniques for preparing hair before applying extensions
• the knowledge to perform a thorough diagnosis before applying hair extensions
• hair extension maintenance methods
• customer reception and advice techniques

MODULE 1: INTENSIVE WEAVING TRAINING 

We offer a 70-hour program (i.e., 10 days) + 1 optional internship day at the BRASILHAIR salon, allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the main techniques for applying hair extensions in wefts:

• Classic Weave (3 days or 21h)
• Glue-in Weave and/or Skin Weft (Adhesive) (2 days or 14h)
• Beaded Weave with rings + Brazilian Weave with micro-rings (2 days or 14h)
• American Weaves (on cap, on net, with invisible part) (2 days or 14h)
• Styling  (1 day or 7h)

MODULE 2 INTENSIVE EXTENSIONS TRAINING

We offer a 70-hour program (i.e. 10 days) + 1 optional internship day at the BRASILHAIR salon, allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the main techniques for applying strand-by-strand hair extensions:

• Brasilhair extension/Brazilian Piqué Lâché (3 days or 21h)
• Loose braid (2 days or 14h)
• Keratin extension (2 days or 14h)
• Ring extensions (2 days or 14h)
• Styling  (1 day or 7h)

MODULE 3: Classic Weave

The classic (sewn) weave is the essential hair extension application technique.

This is not an introductory course; the practice of cornrows is a prerequisite, otherwise this module should be taken in conjunction with module 16 "Cornrows: basics".
Always in high demand from clients for full or half-head applications, this technique is currently booming, especially for weft applications.

We offer a 21-hour program (i.e. 3 days) that allows you to acquire and/or perfect the classic weaving technique, and particularly to master the art of closure. 

MODULE 4: Glue-in Weave and/or Skin Weft application

The glue-in weave is a technique that eliminates the need to braid the client's hair prior to application. It is often chosen by clients for its quick application. This technique allows for all types of hairstyles.
Skin Weft (or Adhesive) application allows for discreet hair lengthening or balancing hair volume (application of a few strips).

We offer a 14-hour program (i.e., 2 days) that allows you to acquire and/or perfect the glue-in weave technique and/or the application of skin wefts.

MODULE 5: Beaded Weave with rings + Brazilian weave with micro-rings

The ring weave allows for the application of weave strips without cornrows and without glue. The weave strips are directly attached to the hair using rings.
The Brazilian weave with micro-rings allows for the application of weave strip(s), without prior braiding, on even the finest hair. The advantage of these two methods is undoubtedly their lightness and discretion.

We offer a 14-hour program (i.e., 2 days) that allows you to acquire and/or perfect the beaded weave with rings technique as well as the Brazilian weave with micro-rings.

MODULE 6: American Weaves (cap, net, and invisible part) 

American weaves are new techniques from the United States, allowing for the application of a weave without damaging the hair and adapting to all hair types:

• American net weaving involves attaching weaving strips to hair through a special net.
• American cap weaving involves attaching weaving strips to a special cap. This technique is particularly recommended for people who want to protect their hair for medical reasons (partial alopecia, ringworm).
• American weaving with an invisible part gives a stunningly natural effect.

We offer a 21-hour program (3 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the three variations of American weaving and particularly to perfectly master the art of closure. 

MODULE 7: American Weaving Short Cuts (with cap, with net, and invisible part) 

The success of short cuts, largely inspired by star Rihanna, is undeniable.
The application of these short cuts using the American weaving technique (in three variations: with cap, with net, with invisible part) gives impeccable results.
In addition to mastering the application, it is about discovering cutting and styling tips to offer a perfect short hairstyle.

We offer a 21-hour program (3 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the three variations of American weaving, especially for short cuts. 

MODULE 8: BRASILHAIR EXTENSION / Brazilian Picked and Released

BRASILHAIR EXTENSION or Brazilian Picked and Released is an undetectable cold application, strand by strand, that allows for natural lengthening and increased hair volume using only bulk hair and elastex thread. Mastering the Brazilian Picked and Released technique and its variations represents a real added value for a hair salon.

We offer a 21-hour program (3 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the three variations of the picked and released application.

MODULE 9: Braided and Released - 2 days

The braided and released extension application is a traditional method that creates beautiful volume and hair lengthening.
It is a cold application, strand by strand, which consists of making a very thin braid with the client's hair and bulk hair (Brazilian picked and released), which will be "released" as you go.

We offer a 14-hour program (2 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the braided and released application technique.

MODULE 10: Keratin Extensions

Mastering the application of keratin extensions has become essential for hair professionals.
This is a hot application, strand by strand: the attachment point is made using keratin.
This technique allows for rapid hair lengthening and, depending on the number of strands applied, significantly increases hair volume.

We offer a 14-hour program (2 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the technique of applying keratin extensions.

MODULE 11: Ring Extensions

Ring or micro-ring extension application is an excellent alternative to keratin extension application, especially for clients who prefer a cold, strand-by-strand application. This method is also suitable for adding length to the hair or for restoring hair density in specific areas. This module allows you to master 2 methods: traditional ring extension application and extension application with Micro-rings or loops (innovative BRASILHAIR® product).

We offer a 14-hour program (2 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the two variations of ring extension application. 

MODULE 12: Wig, half-wig, hairpiece & lace wig application

Applying all types of wigs (classic wig, half-wig, hairpiece, full lace wig and front lace wig) allows for better sales of these products by providing a complete service.

MODULE 13: Finishing pieces  New!

It is essential to master the application of finishing pieces when applying hair extensions. This step will make the entire work remarkable and noticed!
This module allows you to learn how to apply finishing pieces and create perfect closures using bangs & half-bangs, master parties, closures, master toupees, fake partings, and replacement pieces.

We offer a 7-hour program (1 day) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the techniques for applying finishing pieces. 

MODULE 14: Prosthesis and hair replacement application

The application of hair prostheses often occurs in cases of hair problems (alopecia, hair volume loss,...): the affected clientele expects personalized service and a perfect result.
This module will allow you to master the application of volumizers and toupees as well as their maintenance to build customer loyalty and acquire new skills.

We offer a 14-hour program (2 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the techniques for applying hair prostheses and replacements.

MODULE 15: Instant Extensions (Clip-in band creation and application)

Generally called clip-in extensions, clip-in bands or tic-tac, instant extensions are weft weaves mounted with clips. Clients are attracted by the simplicity of their application and removal, on all hair types. They allow lengthening hair for an occasion but also daily, for those who prefer a temporary solution.
This module teaches you how to place clip-in bands undetectably and create magnificent hair in minutes.

You also learn how to create simple clip-in bands from hair wefts.
Mastering the application will ensure better sales of this product!

We offer a 7-hour program (1 day) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the technique of applying instant extensions or clip-in bands + simple clip-in band creation.

MODULE 16: Cornrows Basics

Intended particularly for those wishing to follow modules n°1, n°3, n°6, n°7 and n°17, this module allows you to acquire the basics of cornrow practice, often used as a preliminary to band extension applications. The three main variations of cornrows are covered, in order to choose the most suitable on a case-by-case basis.

We offer a 21-hour program (3 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the basics of the three variations of the cornrow technique. 

MODULE 17: African Braids and Twists

African braids and twists create a unique look that is practical for everyday wear.

You will learn to create different models of African braids and twists to master all styles: glamorous, natural or sophisticated.

We offer a 21-hour program (3 days) allowing you to acquire and/or perfect the technique of creating African braids and twists.
